Calvin Verdok Expressed Separation Messages For Shin Tae-yong After Being Fired From The Indonesian National Team

JAKARTA - A farewell and prayer was expressed by the Indonesian National Team player, Calvin Verdok, to Shin Tae-yong. This follows the status of the coach who no longer handles the Garuda Squad.

Shin Tae-yong was officially fired from the coaching chair of the Indonesian national team on Monday, January 6, 2025. This news is clearly surprising considering that the South Korean coach recently received a contract extension until 2027.

Calvin Verdok, who is one of Shin Tae-yong's foster children in the Indonesian national team, also responded to this situation.

Verdonk is one of Shin Tae-yong's favorite diaspora players. The 27-year-old player often won the trust to appear as a starter in various important matches of the Indonesian national team.

Although officially terminating the coach's contract, PSSI promised to pay Shin Tae-yong's compensation and his staff according to the contract clause.

Meanwhile, the new European coach is scheduled to be introduced to the public on January 12, 2025.
