Participating In The 2024 PEVS, MG Showcases These Three EVs For Six Days

JAKARTA - Morris Garage (MG) has again shown his commitment to an environmentally friendly ecosystem by presenting three fully electrified models, namely MG4 EV, MG ZS EV, and MG Maxus 9 at the 2024 Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) Periclindo event at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta.

"This well-known electric vehicle exhibition event is an important milestone for the development of the Indonesian electric vehicle ecosystem," said MG Motor Indonesia Chief Operating Officer Donald Rachmat, in the middle of the event, Tuesday, April 30.

The company says these three models have contributed to the global sale of MG electric vehicles with more than 300,000 EVs sold.

The MG4 EV offers a typical European design supported by impressive performance and technology. Equipped with a rear-wheel drive (RWD) electric motor, this car can run from 0 to 100 km/hour in 7.7 seconds.

Meanwhile, the battery can provide up to 425 km of range in one charge. Supported by the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) system and connected in real-time through i-Smart technology, this hatchback is priced at IDR 423 million on The Road DKI Jakarta.

Meanwhile, ZS EV is the only representative of an SUV from MG that is electric. Having 177 dk of power and 280 Nm of torque, provides responsive acceleration with quite efficient energy use.

Offering a distance of up to 403 km in one charge with other advanced technology, the SUV is pegged at a price of IDR 453 million On The Road.

The British manufacturer also presented the Premium MPV Maxus 9 at the 2024 PEVS, after marking his Indonesia debut at the IIMS event last February. This car managed to attract attention from various parties thanks to its luxury and sophistication.

Equipped with a 90 kWh lithium-ion battery, the car can reach 540 km in one charge with a fast charging system that charges from 30-80 percent in just 36 minutes.
