Audi Launches E-Tron A6 In North American Market, This Is The Price And Distance

JAKARTA - Audi expanded its electric vehicle lineup to the North American market by introducing the A6 E-Tron, an environmentally friendly sedan that has advanced features with impressive distance.

Launching from InsideEVs, Friday, March 14, the sedan was built based on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture which allows it to have a lower battery pack on the floor.

Thus, this provides excessive comfort for users, especially in the back seat because there is no need to sit with their knees raised.

The Audi A6 E-Tron is equipped with advanced features such as an Android Automotive OS-based infotainment system developed by Audi. Then, there is also Connect Care so that it allows users to start cars, interior preconditions, to monitor charging management remotely.

The car is also available in two other connectivity options, such as Connect Nav which offers satellite imagery, real-time traffic information, charging station availability information, online parking information, and advanced 3D city views. Users can get this feature on a subscription but can be tested for free for three years first.

Furthermore, there is Connect Plus which provides Wi-Fi hotspots, radio online, and Audi App Store. This system can be tested for free for six months before being offered on a subscription basis.

Meanwhile, the entry-level variant of the car has a single electric motor with a power of 375 cellphones supported by a rear wheel drive system.

Armed with a battery with a capacity of 100 kWh, the Audi A6 E-Tron has a distance of up to 630 km according to the EPA cycle. It offers DC 270 kW charging which can charge 10 to 80 percent within 21 minutes.

Marketed for the North American market, especially the United States (US) region, the Audi A6 E-Tron is priced at US$67,195 or equivalent to Rp1.102 billion.
