Infinity Officially Launches The Latest Generation Of QX80, Shows More Streak And Offers High-end Luxury

JAKARTA - Long awaited, Infiniti finally released the latest generation from QX80 competing in the luxury full-size SUV segment. This car comes with the latest technology, design, and performance.

Global Head of Infiniti Jose Roman said that the latest QX80 is a perfect reflection of starting the new chapter of this premium brand as well as being the most advanced product offered by the company.

"Undeniably, this is the most advanced product Infinity has ever offered and we believe this product will set new benchmarks in the full-size luxury segment," Roman said in an official statement on the company's website, Thursday, March 21.

All-New QX80 has a sturdy but dynamic design language by prioritizing aspects of aerodynamic performance. This car uses the latest double curvature goal which is characteristic of the brand.

Also presented is an LED DRL light on both sides of the top grip with an Infiniti emblem that can turn on with a three-dimensional display. At the bottom of the front fascia there is a combination of vehicle lights, along with hidden air curtain ventilation that helps optimize airflow.

Moving to the back, there is an LED with an attracting design. Equipped with 300 LEDs, the lighting reminds the appearance of the grip and DRL at the end of the front.

For the interior, the driver will be greeted by a pair of 14.3-inch HD screens installed in front of the driver serving as a cluster instrument that blends with the appearance of the infotainment touchscreen.

Infiniti QX80 will carry a Google built-in system that provides convenience for its users with Google Maps, Google Assistant, and Google Play features. For the first time, QX80 is available with a colorful head-up display that can help drivers view information when looking forward.

In addition, the car will use an individual audio system from Klipsch installed on the back of the head so that drivers can enjoy entertainment features without disturbing other passengers.

In order to pamper users, Infiniti also presents 64-color ambient lighting that can help organize the user's mood, which is found on the dashboard and door.

Furthermore, the SUV is also equipped with an Front Wide View assistance system, in the form of a vehicle front camera that helps drivers show a wide appearance on the front of the vehicle useful when parking the vehicle.

Another interesting feature, the Invisible Hood View, by combining an exterior camera with advanced image processing that can see the inside of the QX80 engine space. Another advantage of this feature is that it can help drivers through narrow lanes and pass through various trajectories in complicated conditions.

Speaking of performance, this large SUV is equipped with a 3.5 liter twin-turbocharged VR35DDT engine which produces up to 450 dk of power and a 598 Nm torque or an increase of 50 dk and a 138 Nm torque compared to the previous generation.

Then the engine is combined with a transmission of nine accelerations with responsive acceleration capabilities but has high efficiency on the highway supported by four-wheeled (4WD) and rear wheels (RWD).

All-New Infiniti QX80 comes in the Pure, Luxe, Sensory, and Autograph variants, and costs 82,450 US dollars to 110,595 US dollars (equivalent to Rp1.2 billion to Rp1.7 billion).

The manufacturer under Nissan Motor will sell this model starting summer in the US. Meanwhile, in the full-size luxury SUV segment, QX80 will compete with a number of models such as Lexus LX, BMW X7, and Mazda CX-90.
