JAKARTA Memorim hari ini, 12 tahun yang lalu, 11 Desember 2011, Rapat Kerja Nasional (Rakernas) Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN) menghasilkan rekomendasi Hatta Rajasa sebagai capres Indonesia pada Pilpres 2014. Menteri Koordinator Bidang Perekonomian dianggap sosok yang tepat memimpin Indonesia oleh seluruh kader PAN.

Hatta Rajasa has long dreamed of getting the title of oil engineer from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). At first, Hatta wanted to serve his alma mater as a lecturer. His dream was to educate the nation's children. However, the plan missed.

He received an important position in PAN as chairman of the department of natural resources and energy. His political career skyrocketed. PAN was able to transform into the right political vehicle for Hatta. He was able to reach an important position in his political career: minister.

Hatta was once listed as Minister of State Research and Technology of the era of Megawati Soekarnoputri.
