Ani Yudhoyono Receives Award For The Star Of The Republic Of Indonesia Adipradana In Today's Memory, August 12, 2011

JAKARTA Memories of today, 12 years ago, August 12, 2011, the government gave Bintang Republi Indonesia Adipradana to the First Lady of Kristen Herrawati (Ani Yudhoyono). President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's (SBY) wife is considered to have a large service in the field of empowering women and children.

Previously, Mrs. Ani's concern for women and children arose because she was the leader of the Solidarity of the Wife of the United Indonesia Cabinet (SIKIB). The association made her actively contribute to the realm of education, health, and the environment.

Hakekat a woman is not just a kitchen affair and raising children. The capacity is more than that. Women can perpetuate other benefitsful activities. The narrative was then presented by the First Lady, Ani Yudhoyono.

All kinds of household matters are able to be done well. Mrs. Ani also felt that she needed a forum so that the wife and wife of the ranks of the Minister of the United Indonesia Cabinet could perpetuate their contribution to the country.

Mrs. Ani then formed a new forum. Solidarity of the wife of the United Indonesia Cabinet (SIKIB), her name. The association is not like most associations of official wives who incidentally contain just fun activities.

SIKIB is dominated by activities that make a positive contribution to the nation and state. More broadly, SIKIB is presented with a message of gender equality. A forum that allows women to contribute to other women.

Various activities were held. The field of education and the environment is the main thing. Mrs. Ani then initiated the activities of Smart Cars, Smart Motors, to Smart Houses. Even in the environment, Mrs. Ani and SIKIB initiated Green Indonesia. This activity is devoted to the concern of women to protect the earth.

Our vision is compact and stable: to inspire the spirit and power of the community to improve their lives in the realm of education, health, creativity, love for the environment and concern for others. The state already has development programs in these areas through various ministries.

"But we SIKIB, will also color efforts to empower the community with a touch of women and in independent programs. We are not included in the corridor that has become the government's agenda, but provide concrete support and contribution to uploading the people's independent spirit," explained Ani Yudhoyono as quoted by Albertheine Endah in the book Ani Yudhoyono: 10 Years of Heart Travel (2018).

Mrs. Ani's activities in social activities were also noticed by the Indonesian government, which was commanded by her husband, SBY. The owner of power then tried to appreciate Mrs. Ani by giving her a high award. Mrs. Ani was awarded the Bintang Republik Indonesia Adipradana award on August 12, 2011.

The awarding immediately made the government flooded with criticism. Mrs. Ani's achievements are considered less brilliant if they don't want to be said to be mediocre. All the people think that there are still many figures who are more worthy of being given than SBY's wife.
