'Ritual', First Original Horror Series From TrueID

JAKARTA - The streaming service TrueID is collaborating with the production house MVP Entertainment for a horror series called Ritual. This series is the original content of TrueID in Indonesia.

The ritual consists of eight 15-minute stories by director Azhar Kinoi Lubis. This series is his latest work in the horror genre after Kafir (2018), Ikut Aku ke Neraka (2019), and Mangkujiwo (2020).

For the script, Erwanto Alphadullah helped to sew the entire Ritual story. Overall, Ritual tells the story of people who are faced with supernatural events and terrors.

“This series presents important elements of a horror work, such as fear, shock, and others. But at the same time, it also has human values and deeper cultural lessons”, said Armando Siahaan, Country Manager of TrueID.

Ritual stars a row of well-known actors and actresses, including Putri Ayudya, Aghiny Haque, Omar Daniel, Dea Panendra, Yati Surrachman, Shareefa Danish, and many others.

"This is a good opportunity for MVP Entertainment to work with TrueID to work on this Ritual suspense horror series," said Amrit Punjabi.
