JAKARTA - The second son of singer Ahmad Dhani, Ahmad Jalaluddin Rumi or who is familiarly called El Rumi, had forgotten to bring an Identity Card (KTP) to participate in the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Head Election (Pilkada).

"Don't bring your ID card, forget it," said El Rumi as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, November 27, 2024.

Wearing sunglasses and green vests, El came to Pols 025 which is located on Jalan Pinang Emas, South Jakarta, which is not far from his house through the side door.

El came around 08.15 WIB on foot. But a few moments later, he came out laughing and walked back into the house accompanied by an assistant.

Right at 08.23 WIB, El returned to the TPS with his ID card. With a slightly embarrassed face while smiling, he lifted his identity card.

"Take it," said El.

El immediately went to the officer's desk to sign the attendance list while showing his ID card. With a well-built posture, he took a ballot letter and put it behind the ballot booth.

A funny moment also happened, where the reporters who were present ran to follow themselves in front of the sound booth.

Where is the principle of secrecy? El joked at reporters.

"This must be bismillah first, right? Okay, bismillahirohmanirohim," continued El.

Meanwhile, when asked about other family members, El explained that his family might only go to the voting place at around 10.00 WIB. However, he did not speak further about it.

"Not yet, they (have not come to voting), maybe after 10 o'clock or 11 they are," said El.

The DKI Jakarta KPU has appointed three candidate pairs for governor and deputy governor of DKI Jakarta to run in the DKI Jakarta Regional Head Election (Pilkada).

The three candidate pairs are Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (RIDO) number 1, Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana (Dharma-Kun) from independent serial numbers 2 and Pramono Anung-Rano Karno (Pram-Doel) serial number 3.

A total of 8.2 million voters who have been designated as a permanent voter list (DPT) for the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada will exercise their voting rights at 14,835 polling stations (TPS) on November 27, 2024.

The Jakarta Pilkada campaign series has been held from September 25 to November 23, 2024.
