Nunung Removes Sadness By Strengthening Others With Breast Cancer Fighters

JAKARTA - Nunung's senior comedian said that he was asked to continue to be happy by his doctor after recovering from the breast cancer he was suffering from. In fact, he was also asked by his doctor to continue working as a form of entertainment for him.

"Yes (to get rid of sadness) said the doctor, 'Mun Nunung is happy', the doctor always says that, 'Ms. Nunung is happy, yes, work, yes'," said Nunung in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, Thursday, September 26.

Therefore, Nunung is grateful that his work has now increased by one, namely being a speaker for fellow cancer fighters at one of the cancer foundations.

"Alhamdulillah, again, I often feel like I'm in a big hospital, then on the 1st I'll be called at the cancer foundation chaired by Mrs. Agum Gumelar to be a speaker, then in a large hospital I became a speaker with an oncology doctor," he said.

Nunung said this started when many fellow cancer fighters wanted to exchange their minds with him about breast cancer.

"I'm a speaker for fellow cancer sufferers, I often do that, I share that. They sometimes ask, 'Doesn't this Nunung hurt?', yes, it hurts," he said.

"There are so many in my WA, I don't know who they get numbers from, sometimes they want to chat, want video calls. There are so many," explained Nunung.

Not without reason, Nunung felt for himself that when he was sentenced to cancer, it automatically attacked the sufferer's psyche.

"Yes, yes, others. Because of this, who is the psychological one that doesn't get hit? We just have a headache, we are afraid of headaches. Why? Why? Moreover, this is cancer, cancer is aah (scared)," he said.
