Favorite Character Elizabeth Olsen Interested In Playing Scarlet Witch Again In MCU

JAKARTA - Elizabeth Olsen is open to returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) to play the character Wanda Maximoff/ Scarlet Witch. He was last seen in the film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in 2022.

"(Wanda Maximoff) is a character I want to play again when I know there's a way to use it well, and I was lucky when I started using the character well," said Elizabeth Olsen when talking to FM104.

"I don't think people know what to do with me. If there is a good way to use the character, I will always be happy to come back," he said.

Olsen mentioned how Marvel photographed Scarlet Witch as a bad side. It had made it difficult for him, especially since he had played Wanda Maximoff in the WandaVision series which showed the character Scarlet Witch was a draw.

"At first I was nervous and in a dilemma, because I wasn't done with WandaVision, almost. I thought 'Oh my God, how did I do this? And it was an opportunity to see people highlight their characters,' Olsen said in a separate interview.

Elizabeth Olsen herself had replied that she did not miss Scarlett Witch's character because she thought she was done at the Multiverse of Madness.

"If someone says I was fired from a Marvel movie, I would be proud of what we did. And we're really trying to see another chance so we don't lean too much towards Marvel," he said.

On the other hand, Kevin Feige as president of Marvel Studios is very open to exploring Scarlett Witch's story in the future, although he is reluctant to talk much about the plan.
