Success In India, Shah Rukh Khan Wants To Film Hollywood With These Conditions

JAKARTA - Shah Rukh Khan is one of the big actors in India. His films in India have received public attention until his name is known internationally.

Recently, he received the Career Achievent award at the 77th Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland. The award is a form of appreciation for his contribution to the film world.

Interestingly, during his career, he had never starred in a Hollywood film. When asked, he explained that he had certain conditions in choosing a project.

"I think (Hollywood) is the biggest cinema depending on how people see it," Shah Rukh Khan quoted Variety as saying.

"I don't think I can choose a position, but yes, when there is a chance, I hope I can speak English enough," he said.

In addition, he also chose a role that could increase the world's view of India's cinema. For a long time he wanted to make his birthplace proud of his work.

"And I don't want to sound too high, but (the role) must be in accordance with the status that the Indian audience gave me. The project should not be disappointing," continued Shah Rukh Khan.

"I may seem rude, but I really respect and appreciate how much people appreciate me. People admire what I'm doing, give me too much respect," he said.

"There is respect that I have to maintain when I play a role in any film, whether it's an Hindi film or a South Indian film or a Marathi film or a French film or a Hollywood film. So in my opinion, no one has offered me such a role. I don't have any agents there. To be honest, I haven't looked for it either," he said again.

In the future, he is interested in joining Hollywood production regardless of being an actor, or producer, writer, or light carrier.

"I just want Indian stories to be accepted worldwide, and I hope I can be a small part of that," said Shah Rukh Khan.

Acting since 1988, Shah Rukh Khan already has an acting credit of more than 100 and has been named one of the richest actors in the world.
