Sarwendah Is Absent Again, Divorce Trial With Ruben Onsu Continues

JAKARTA - The divorce trial between Ruben Onsu and Sarwendah was held again at the South Jakarta District Court today, Tuesday, August 13.

Back, Sarwendah as the defendant was again absent at a trial scheduled for evidence from the plaintiff alias Ruben Onsu.

With Sarwendah's absence, Public Relations 2 of the South Jakarta District Court, Tumpanuli Marbun said that the trial would continue without his presence.

"After we asked the panel of judges who tried the case, it turned out that the defendant did not attend the trial even though he had been legally and properly summoned," explained Tumpanuli Marbun at his office, Tuesday, August 13.

"Because the defendant was not present, the case was continued without the presence of the defendant," he added.

Tumpanuli also revealed that during the trial Sarwendah never explained the reason for continuing to be absent.

"The letter never came regarding the issue of his absence. The point is that what we can see is that the call has reached the person concerned, but the defendant is not present at the trial," he explained.

With this, the trial for the continuation of Ruben and Sarwendah's divorce will have an agenda for evidence from the plaintiff alias Ruben Onsu on August 20.

"So, for the next trial, next week's trial on the 20th of the trial agenda is proof from the plaintiff," he said.
