Play Young Wife, Carissa Perusset: Don't Hate Me Too Much!

JAKARTA - Carissa Perusset became a young wife in the film Guna-Guna Young Wife. He competed acting with senior actors such as Anjasmara and Lulu Tobing. However, it was another thing that worried him.

"Don't hate me too much. I'm just acting here," said Carissa Perusset, starting her words at a press conference in South Jakarta on Saturday, November 23.

"I'm afraid but I'm really aware now," said Carissa.

He also had said that he was afraid to see the public's response to his character. He added, "I'm really scared, I feel like I want to write Twitter and Letterboxd."

On the other hand, he told the process of exploring the character of Angel, Burhan's young wife, played by Anjasmara. He tries to bring a different side to his very negative character.

"Get out the cunning and rather sensual side and be very, very enthusiastic in the wrong way," said Carissa about her character.

"It's been a long time and Mas Robby is specific to his character. I was helped by make-up and my style that is different from the original," he continued.

Carissa recalled the nervousness she experienced during the filming process. Apart from exploring his character, he also acted with the actors.

"Everything is difficult because I'm nervous and I'm not nervous for one day, especially since I'm acting with these actors. It's very honorable to be able to act with them," said Carissa Perusset.

In order for Young Wife to tell the story of Burhan (Anjasmara) who remarried to Angel (Carissa Perusset) even though she already has a wife, Vivian (Lulu Tobing). On the other hand, Angel was jealous of Vivian, who was always Burhan's priority, so she decided to use Vivian.

The Guna-Guna Young Wife film will premiere in Indonesian cinemas starting November 27.
