Solo Debut, NCT Jaehyun Will Release First Album J

JAKARTA - I have been waiting for a long time, NCT's Jaehyun finally announced his solo debut. This plan was revealed by SM Entertainment at the beginning of this year but only revealed on Thursday, August 8.

Jaehyun released a teaser video entitled The Smoky Night featuring Jaehyun explores various types of flowers and finds rose flowers. Then he put rose flowers in the refrigerator that emitted smoke along with other flowers.

Jaehyun's solo album will be titled J in the studio album format. Before the album is released, he will launch two pre-release tracks titled Roses and Dandelion.

Jaehyun himself has performed both songs when appearing as a guest on the stage of singer Lauv at the Seoul Jazz Festival 2024.

The main track is titled Smoke which will be present in two versions, namely Korean and English. The agency will reveal track lists and other information on the upcoming occasion.

Although this album is Jaehyun's solo debut, this 27-year-old singer has released several solo tracks under the SM Station and NCT Lab projects, namely Try Again, Horizon and Forever Only.

In addition, Jaehyun also acted through a number of titles starting from Dear. M in 2022. He is also confirmed to make his big screen debut through the film You Will Die in 6 Hours which is planned to air this year.

He is also considering an offer for the drama I Believe You with Lee Chae Min and Oh Nara.

As for Jaehyun's debut album, J will be released on August 26, 2024 in physical form and streaming.
