Insinuated By Old, Luna Maya Is Not Afraid

JAKARTA - In a live broadcast conducted on her personal Instagram, Luna Maya was seen responding to netizens' comments that insinuated her old age.

Luna Maya casually says that it doesn't matter if she is old and accepts aging which is a natural process in life. "I embrace my clothes and the aging process I'm experiencing," said Luna Maya, quoted by VOI from Instagram @pembasmi.haluan.reall, Thursday, August 1.

Furthermore, Luna said that netizen comments to artists related to old appearances had an effect on the confidence of the artists.

This has finally become one of the reasons Indonesian artists finally chose to do plastic surgery.

"Only sometimes you guys are comments that 'old, old, old' make people feel insecure. That's why many people have operations finally because of comments from you," said Luna Maya.

Luna emphasized that indirectly these comments made the artist's beauty standard look young. Even though the aging process is natural and must be accepted.

"In fact, we are actually arguing with ourselves and have to accept the aging process. I've started accepting it," said Luna Maya.

"That's why sometimes there are many artists who become operations. So yes, beauty standards must always be young because you are comments. Even though aging must be accepted, it cannot be avoided," he explained.
