Liga 1 2024/2025 Results: PSM Comeback To Silence Barito Putera, North Maluku Secures Victory At PSIS Home

JAKARTA - Two matches were completed in the 16th week of Liga 1 2024/2025 on Sunday, December 22 afternoon WIB. As a result, PSM Makassar managed to win from Barito Putera after a comeback and Malut United managed to steal three points at PSIS Semarang's home.

PSM Makassar, who hosted Barito Putera at Batakan Stadium, Balikpapan, had missed first. In the first half, Barito Putera broke the deadlock first through Rahmat Give Santoso's goal in the 32nd minute.

However, the visitors' advantage only lasted in the first half, because in the second half PSM Makassar immediately responded with three goals, of which two were contributed by Aloiso Neto in the 56th and 84th minutes, while the other contributed from Nermin Heljeta in the 74th minute.

Another goal was scored by Barito, his son again by Levy Clement from the penalty spot in the 90th minute. However, in the thin remaining time, Tu Barito was unable to catch up with the hosts' gains and could not avoid defeat.

This victory made PSM Makassar move up to ninth in the 2024/2025 Liga 1 standings with a collection of 27 points from 16 matches that had been undertaken.

In another match which was held at the same time, there was a match that brought together PSIS Semarang and Malut United, where the visitors won.

Appearing at the Jatidiri Stadium, Semarang PSIS even missed the opportunity at the beginning. Because North Maluku United were able to score first in the 12th minute through the execution of Darel Valentino.

Then at the start of the second half, North Maluku United were able to double their lead through the execution of Diego Martinez in the 47th minute.

The hosts equalized through Wildan Ramdani in the 80th minute. But North Maluku United added the lead to 3-1 through Jorge Correa in injury time 90+4.
