JAKARTA - Northern Ireland designer Jonathan Anderson founded JW AnDERSON in 2008. It started as an accessories-focused brand, but quickly caught the eye and then launched a ready-to-wear line and had the opportunity to perform at London Fashion Week 2008.

The success of this debut collection has received a lot of praise for Anderson's commercial success, so the label is now considered one of the most innovative and progressive brands in London. This year, UNIQLO announced the launch of the 2024 Spring/Summer collections UNIQLO and JW AnDERSON on April 19. The latest collection of collaboration lines is inspired by medieval British crafts that focus material quality and practicality.

This season's collection is a combination of the philosophy of LifeWear, which prioritizes the quality of everyday clothing for a better life, with the essence of JW AnDERSON's playful.

"This season's collection took inspiration from British art in the 1940s to 1960s, where the quality and resilience of clothing materials used became full attention," Jonathan Anderson said in a media statement received Thursday, April 4.
