JAKARTA - Jessi officially separated from Jay Park's agency, MORE VISION, just nine months after he was announced to join. This news was confirmed by the agency through their social media accounts.

"Hello, this is MORE VISION. We want to inform you that as of January 31, 2024, MORE VISION and JESSI agreed to terminate the exclusive contract," said MORE VISION today, Wednesday, January 31.

MORE VISION will continue to support JESSI's career and we really appreciate your support for JESSI's future. Thank you," he said.

Jessi joined the MORE VISION founded by rapper Jay Park in April 2023. Not long ago, at the end of last December, a number of local outlets reported that the two were at odds and would have an impact on their contracts.

The conflict allegedly started when Jessi promoted her single, Gum in October. He was scheduled to appear at the Music Bank on KBS2 until he suddenly canceled his appearance. The agency called the cancellation due to Jessi's health condition.

In addition, Jessi complained because MORE VISION could not give her the opportunity for a pre-recorded session. Pre-record sessions are usually carried out so that artists do not have to wait for the time to appear according to the hours of the event.

Reportedly, the agency could not provide pre-recorded sessions at Music Bank because many artists got slots for comebacks in November and avoided Asian Games broadcasts. However, this made Jessi not appear on music shows on other television stations.

When their feud was over, Jessi and Jay Park compactly denied the rumors. Jay Park even uploaded a photo with Jessi as evidence.

"My relationship with Jessi is good and there is no conflict, so you don't have to worry," wrote Jay Park.

MORE VISION is Jessi's fourth agency. Previously, he had joined Doremi, YMC, and PSY's agency P-Nation.
