Dighosted by MUA and Hair Stylist Before Performing, Ghea Indrawari Had to Do Her Own Hair: 'Strong!'

JAKARTA - Unpleasant news came from the singer who won Indonesian Idol, Ghea Indrawari. Through a post on his social media, the singer of the song "Jiwa Yang Sedih" poured out his frustration after being left alone or being ghosting by the Makeup Artist (MUA) and hairstylist team shortly before going on stage.

This incident began when Ghea's concert schedule was suddenly advanced by the organizers. This sudden change in schedule apparently could not be accepted by the glam team that had been ordered by his personal assistant.

Ghea explained that the MUA and hair stylist team refused to do her makeup for professional reasons and work standards. They are said not to want to take risks if they have to work with a narrow duration.

"The reason is that they have a standard which is at least 1.5 hours of work. If not, they are afraid they will not be satisfied with the results," Ghea wrote in a post quoted by VOI, Friday, July 24.

Ghea admitted that she was surprised by the reason. The reason is, according to Ghea's experience, her glam team had even made up her face in less than 30 minutes due to the delay of the flight.

Even though the schedule is advanced, Ghea actually still has about an hour to prepare. He also tried to negotiate by only asking for the help of a hairdresser so that the process would be faster. However, the request was still rejected.

"Akhirnya cuma minta bantu hair do aja karena udah enggak sempet cari glam team lain (masih ada waktu sejam buat prepare) tapi tetep enggak mau," lanjutnya.

This condition forced the singer from Singkawang to take action himself to prepare his performance on stage without professional help.

"Well, finally there's only me myself and I. strong," wrote Ghea.

In his follow-up post, Ghea revealed that the team employed by his assistant actually often worked for fellow artists. He regretted the lack of flexibility shown, especially in emergency situations in the entertainment industry, which is often dynamic.

"When I check the gong, it often becomes a glam team for my friends. It's okay, but don't do this often," concluded Ghea.
