Accused of Not Contributing, Ruben Onsu's Party Reveals Proof of Transfer of Rp3 Billion for Cilandak House

JAKARTA - Ruben Onsu's party was finally annoyed by the oblique accusations that pinned the presenter on his family affairs, especially regarding his contribution to the construction of a luxurious house in the Cilandak area.

Through his lawyer, Minola Sebayang, Ruben revealed the evidence of the transfer of fantastic value as a form of clarification. Minola emphasized that the disclosure of financial data is not intended to show off wealth, but to straighten out the facts which he believes have been reversed.

"This again, friends, is not to show off or to reminisce. But because there is a statement that we must straighten out the facts," said Minola Sebayang in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, Thursday, July 23.

In his explanation, Minola detailed one by one the large expenses borne entirely by Ruben Onsu. One of them is the procurement of a lift facility at the house which reached half a billion rupiah.

"In the house there is an elevator. The one who paid the lift fee worth Rp504 million was Ruben. There is proof of the transfer, so don't say 'I, I' later but there is no proof," said Minola.

He detailed that the payment was made in stages ranging from Rp. 120 million, Rp. 195 million, to Rp. 189 million.

Not only the elevator, the air conditioning or AC business is also the responsibility of Ruben. Minola revealed that the total cost of the AC in the house touched the figure of Rp. 400 million.

"AC who paid also had a role for Ruben, or maybe Ruben paid for all of it. In total, Rp. 400 million for AC, paid three times; Rp. 200 million, Rp. 100 million, and Rp. 100 million," he continued.

The most striking point is the expenditure for household items or furniture. Minola said that his client had spent up to Rp. 3 billion just to fill the new house. Ironically, the furniture bill was requested before the house was completed.

"Furniture is what paid Ruben's money, a total of Rp. 3 billion. In fact, according to Ruben's statement, the money for the furniture was requested and billed before the house was built," said Minola.

The payment was made in installments of 12 times with a nominal of Rp. 250 million per month until it was paid off.

Ruben Onsu's step to uncover these evidences is called a self-protection effort so that he is not constantly cornered by the narrative that is developing in the public. Ruben's party hopes that no one will feel that they are most indebted or act as a victim.

Minola added, Ruben actually did not want to bring anyone down, but he was worried that this unbalanced news would have a bad impact on his children's psychology.

"Don't let us play the victim, pity Ruben. So far he doesn't want to bring anyone down. But if he is suspected and eventually the children are led to hear unbalanced news, this is not good," concluded Minola Sebayang.
