Out Of Thunderbolts, Steven Yeun: I Want To Play Marvel Film

JAKARTA - Steven Yeun has finally opened his voice about his exit from the production of the film Thunderbolts. The day before, he reportedly left due to his conflicting schedule plus the production of the new Marvel film will continue this year.

"I think the time that passed and this move got me out. But Jake (Schreirer), I know, he will do his job well," Steven Yeun quoted Variety as saying.

Production of the film Thunderbolts has started since May 2023, but has stalled due to the SAG-AFTRA strike so that it will only continue this year.

"I want to play a Marvel movie," he added.

The film was directed by Jake Schreirer and the script was written by Lee Sung Jin who became the creator for the Beef series starring Steven Yeun.

"Just take a lot of drafts in emails to make sure I send how guilty I am because I have to step down," Yeun said again.

When asked what Marvel film he wanted, Steven Yeun did not hesitate to answer. So far he doesn't have a Marvel film type image that he can play with.

"I think it's too early to say it. I must have disappointed a lot of people because they left, so I just said "Thank you for welcoming me", Yeun said.

"I have some ideas, but I hear if you talk about them, you'll never get them. So I'll keep them in my heart," he said again.
