Kim Nam Gil Considers Offering The Fiery Priest 2 Drama!

Actor Kim Nam Gil is targeted to return to play pastor Kim Hae Il for the Korean drama The Fiery Priest season two.

Today, Wednesday, November 29, Kim Nam Gil is said to have received an offer to return to play the character Kim Hae Il for the second season of The Fiery Priest.

It didn't take long, Kim Nam Gil's agency Gilstory replied, "Actor (Kim Nam Gil) received an offer for The Fiery Priest 2 but is reviewing the offer positively."

This news was greeted by fans, especially because actor Kim Nam Gil received a positive response when he played his first season.

The drama The Fiery Priest airs in 2019 tells the story of a Catholic priest who has emotional management problems. He works with a detective to solve a murder case that took place around them.

Besides Kim Nam Gil, this drama also stars Honey Lee and Kim Sung Kyun. During the broadcast, this drama scored the highest rating of up to 22 percent. The Fiery Priest immediately occupied one of the biggest-rated Korean dramas.

The Fiery Priest also brought 8 awards including Daesang for Kim Nam Gil during his career.

On the other hand, the drama The Fiery Priest 2 is rumored to have 12 episodes and will air next year.

Kim Nam Gil is also confirmed to star in the drama Trigger with Kim Young Kwang which will air in 2025.
