Experiencing Anxiety Disorders, Lia ITZY Vakum From Group Activities

JAKARTA - Lia will be on hiatus from activities with ITZY until an undetermined time. The agency explained that Lia's health condition was their top priority.

"Hello, JYP Entertainment. We want to inform you about Lia ITZY's health status and future activities. Currently, Lia is experiencing anxiety problems related to her schedule," said JYP Entertainment today, Monday, September 18.

"He has received medical consultations and examinations, and staff stated he needs treatment and stability. Because of this, we prioritize the health of our artists and Lia will not participate in focusing on treatment," the agency said.

JYP Entertainment also said that this decision was the result of discussions with other ITZY members.

"Time when Lia continues their activities will be decided after discussions with her and the members. We apologize for worrying fans. We will let you know as soon as possible when Lia continues her activities," said JYP Entertainment.

Earlier this month, Lia ITZY was absent from a number of activities with ITZY such as appearing on music shows and fansign. The agency called Lia's health condition an excuse and they specifically mentioned several selected events.

Likewise last August, Lia was absent from ITZY's appearance at the World Scout Jamboree 2023 event. This news was shared by the agency a few hours before ITZY appeared due to the idol's health condition.

ITZY just released a new album titled Kill My Doubt with CAKE's main track in July. They promoted three songs including Bet On Me and None of My Business.

Therefore, ITZY will promote with four people, namely Yuna, Chaeryeong, Yeji, and Ryujin.
