JAKARTA - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) through the Decree of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority Number KEP-56/PM.02/2024 dated November 15, 2024, has given permission to PT Bank Ina Perdana Tbk (Bank INA) as a Kustodian Bank. With this permit, Bank INA has officially become a Kustodian Bank, so it can provide custodian services to institutional and individual customers, both local and foreign.

In his remarks, President Director of Bank INA, Henry Koenaifi said, it is hoped that the inauguration of Bank INA as a Kustodian provider will aim to support and contribute to the development of the capital market industry in particular and the banking industry in general.

"The inauguration of Bank INA Perdana as a Kustodian service provider deserves to be grateful, considering that Bank INA is the 28th Bank out of 106 commercial banks in Indonesia that have Kustodian Bank services, and is the only KBMI 1 bank that has an active Kustodian Bank service in Indonesia," he said, in an official statement, Tuesday, February 11.

President Director of PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI), Samsul Hidayat said, with the joining of Bank INA as a KSEI account holder who can provide Kustodian services, it is hoped that it can improve the quality of capital market services and infrastructure.

"We believe that this collaboration, coupled with Bank INA's reputation in the banking industry to support asset management and capital market transactions, can provide long-term benefits for the Indonesian capital market," said Samsul.

To support the operation of the Kustodian service, Bank INA has become an Effect Account Holder (BINA) at KSEI dated December 10, 2024. Bank INA is also officially a member of the Investment Protection Fund (DPP) managed by the Securities Investor Protection Fund Indonesia (SIF Indonesia).

Director of Trade and Exchange Member Regulation of PT Bursa Efek Indonesia, Irvan Susandy in his speech hoped that Bank INA's Kustodian services could be the main choice for investors and Bank INA to provide security and certainty for investors.

"Not only that, hopefully this service can provide added value for Bank INA as a trusted and highly competitive financial institution," said Irvan.
