Blu By BCA And MRT Integrate Banking Services In MRTJ App

JAKARTA - PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) and blu by BCA are working together to make banking services into MRT's application, MRTJ.

Director of Business Development of PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) Farchad Mahfud said, this collaboration is a form of expanding access to banking for everyone and supports the improvement of MRT Jakarta's technology infrastructure as a public transportation operator by becoming part of the blu by BCA Digital ecosystem.

"By presenting blu from within the MRTJ application, it will facilitate the banking transaction needs of our service users without the need to switch applications," Farchad said in his speech, Monday, January 30.

He explained, this collaboration complements the services already owned by the MRTJ application such as providing ticket purchase services, viewing train schedules, station locations, information on station outlets, upcoming events, latest news, and watching movies.

Farchad also said that through this collaboration, his party wants to show the public again that when using the Jakarta MRT, apart from traveling in a safe and comfortable way, people also get the option of convenience in banking transactions through one application, without having to open multiple applications at one time.

Meanwhile, the Main Director of BCA Digital, Lanny Budiati added, the collaboration between MRT Jakarta x blu allows MRTJ application users to be able to easily carry out banking activities on the MRTJ application, starting from opening a blu account, linking a blu account with an MRTJ account, and also making payments to purchase MRT tickets using blu in a practical way.

The blu banking features in the MRTJ application will be added further in the future collaboration development phase, such as; payment features via QRIS, transfers, and other transactions without having to switch applications.

also added that this collaboration is one of Blu's efforts to continue to expand its digital ecosystem.

"By integrating Blu's banking services into the MRTJ application, customers can easily carry out banking activities anywhere and anytime. Hopefully, by doing so, Blu can become a financial friend for MRTJ users in achieving their financial goals," explained Lanny.

Later, continued Lanny, MRTJ users as well as Blu customers can enjoy various attractive promos available such as 100 percent cashback when purchasing MRT tickets with Blu and a bonus balance of IDR 25,000 when opening a Blu account in the MRTJ application.
