JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises, Erick Thohir, appointed Sharon Florencia, a finalist for the 'girls take over BUMN 2021' from West Java, to be the minister to replace her for a day today. With the change in position, Sharon will replace him in chairing a meeting on the equality program in BUMN and programs in his ministry.

"Of course, Thursday (September 30) there will be a leadership meeting, so you chair the meeting, two things will be discussed later in the meeting. First, ensuring that the gender equality program is running or not", Erick said in his statement quoted on Thursday, September 30.

Second, continued Erick, how the SOE Ministry's current programs will focus on taking sides in the fields of education, the environment, and MSMEs.

"These things will be reviewed at the leadership meeting", he said.

Not only Sharon, but Erick also said that five other millennial finalists would replace the position of the main Director of SOE for a day. These include the President Director of Angkasa Pura I, Bank Mandiri, Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Kimia Farma, and Telkomsel in the period from September 30 to October 1, 2021.

First, Erick appointed Virdha Yudha from Central Java who will replace the duties of the President Director of Angkasa Pura I, namely Faik Fahmi. He asked Virdha to report the readiness of facilities for disabilities at airports.

"We know that tourism is currently in a slump due to COVID, but of course we are sure that it will rise because the majority of the tourist industry actually comes from domestic and of course the facilities at airports need to be reviewed, especially to support disability", he said.

Second, Sisilia Tunga is trusted as President Director of Bank Rakyat Indonesia to replace Mr. Sunarso. Originally from East Nusa Tenggara, this 22-year-old woman is a teacher at an early childhood education institution.

"I was tasked with Sisil to check how the integration system is between PNM, BRI, and Pegadaian. Please review again and see if there are other inputs so that this can run better", he said.

Third, Adinda Zenniar from Central Java will replace the duties of Bank Mandiri President Director Darmawan Junaidi.

"Currently the trend in the digitalization era is digital banks. Therefore, I ask Adinda to take over the position of the President Director of Bank Mandiri and later report to me how the digital transition at Bank Mandiri is", he said.

Fourth, Indira Arum, 23 years old, from South Sulawesi who will replace Kimia Farma President Director Verdi Budidarmo.
