Vice President Ma'ruf Amin Asks CSR Fund Recipients To Be Right On Target To Encourage Inclusive Economic Development

JAKARTA - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin asked recipients of corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds to be right on target to encourage inclusive and environmentally friendly economic development.

"I hope that the target recipients of CSR must really be considered in order to be appropriate and beneficial for rural communities to encourage inclusive and environmentally friendly economic development," said the Vice President at the BUMN/Swasta CSR Program Award and the Development of the 2024 Sustainable Village Awards in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, May 7. He also appreciated state-owned enterprises (BUMN), private companies, village-owned enterprises (BUMDes), and other local driving actors who continue to be committed to his CSR program as well as help the government in achieving development targets. Therefore, he hopes that BUMDes will also continue to innovate in creating businesses/businesses that optimize community empowerment and creating sustainable jobs. "SDM (human resources) must also be able to forge itself to be superior, more creative, more innovative, and adaptive to the dynamics of change, to contribute to the nation's development," said the Vice President. Previously, the Minister of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration (Mendes PDTT) Abdul Halim Iskandar reported that the government had designed an exploratory policy for the development of BUMDesa.

This collaboration involves synergies with ministries/agencies, local governments, BUM Desa associations, and universities.

He hopes that these efforts can advance the level of life of the community, especially through the economic aspect.

Sebagai informasi, CSR dan Pengembangan Desa Berkelanjutan Awards 2024 diberikan kepada perusahaan dan lembaga lainnya seperti lembaga kemasyarakatan serta perorangan atas jasanya dalam membantu percepatan pembangunan desa melalui pelibatan dan pengembangan BUMDes/BUM Desma maupun kegiatan CSR lainnya.Pada 2024 ini, jumlah peserta yang ikut serta meningkat dari yang sebelumnya 60 kandidat peserta dan 54 yang lolos mendapatkan penghargaan. Saat ini, bertambah menjadi 100 kandidat peserta dan 93 di antaranya lolos mendapatkan penghargaan.Adapun panel juri terdiri atas beberapa kementerian seperti Kemendes PDTT, Kementerian Koordinator Bidang Pembangunan Manusia dan Kebudayaan, Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif, Kementerian Pertanian, dan Indonesian Social Sustainability Forum (ISSF) yang terdiri atas gabungan akademisi dari berbagai perguruan tinggi negeri maupun swasta, pakar serta praktisi CSR dan keberlanjutan.
