BTN Boss Aims For IDR 500 Trillion Translucent Assets In 2025

JAKARTA - President Director of BTN Nixon LP Napitupulu stated that his party is targeting the number of assets to increase to reach Rp500 trillion this year.

He said that currently the company's assets have reached Rp470 trillion, mainly thanks to the support from the implementation of the One Million Houses program under the government of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo.

He also hopes that the company's performance will increase with the 3 Million House Program which is currently being intensified by the government of President Prabowo Subianto.

"Currently, BTN records that there are 632 thousand units (houses) in the management stock per day. Hopefully this figure can help the government to realize the 3 Million Houses Program," said Nixon LP Napitupulu quoting Antara.

In addition to increasing assets, he said that his party is also targeting an increase in the proportion of low-cost funds (CASA) to more than 54 percent by boosting the acquisition of retail funds through various efforts, one of which is digital transformation.

The company has transformed the mobile banking app into Bale by BTN and now plans to increase changes to branch offices into digital branches that will increase efficiency and modernize business processes.

His party is also trying to strengthen sustainable funding facilities (engineer for sustainable funding), considering that funding is the focus of the banking industry today in the midst of tight liquidity due to high competition.

Nixon said that BTN's cost of funds (cost of funds) was the highest among other state-owned banks. His party also strives to reduce the cost of the funds, but it is still not optimal.

"So we will take many initiatives in many areas, such as digitization, services, and funding," he said.

His party also set a new vision for the period 2025-2029 to become the Main Mitra in the Financial Empowerment of the Indonesian Family. Through this new vision, BTN seeks to strengthen services outside the KPR.

"So there is a house, there is a family, but not only about mortgages. But how do they (customers) pay for electricity, pay for water, pay for school also at BTN. After the house is formed, we serve everything needed by the family," said Nixon.
