SIG Wins Gold Rating At The 2023 SNI Award Event

JAKARTA - PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) won the SNI Award 2023 Golden Award in the category of the Large Organization for Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Health, Textile, Energy, and Mineral Sector Products Products at the 18th National Quality Award of Indonesia event organized by the National Standardization Agency (BSN). SIG is considered to have implemented SNI and shows high performance achievements, ability to manage changes and carry out transformations for organizational sustainability.

At the same event, a subsidiary of GIS, PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR), also won the SNI Award 2023 event in the Silver category of the Large Organization for Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Health, Textile, Energy, and Mineral Sector Products.

The SNI Award 2023 award was handed over by Expert Staff for Digital Transformation, Creativity, and Human Resources, Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Rizal Edwin to the Director of Operations for SIG, Reni Wulandari at the Jakarta Convention Center, on Thursday, November 16.

SIG Operations Director, Reni Wulandari said, the implementation of SNI consistently is an effort by SIG to realize an effective and efficient operating system, as well as produce innovative building materials of quality, quality, and safety, in order to maintain customer satisfaction and trust. The SNI Award is a place to prove SIG consistency in implementing national manufacturing standards in its operations.

According to Reni Wulandari, GIS has an innovative variety of building materials with a complete specification range that has been fully certified by SNI. Starting from the multipurpose bag cement product, cement products for special applications, environmentally friendly hidraulis cement, to various types of bulk cement that can be adjusted to the characteristics of each type of application and need.

In the cement bag segment (retail), GIS has seven PCC type cement products (portland compounds) certified SNI 7064:2014 and SNI 7064:2022, including Semen Gresik, Semen Padang, Dynamix Serbaguna, Semen Andalas, Semen Tonasa, Semen Baturaja and Dynamix ExtraPower. In addition, there is also Dynamix Masonry which has been certified SNI 15-3758-2004.

Then in the bulk segment, GIS has five non-OPC cement products (ordinary portland cement), as well as five OPC cement products and special types. In the non-OPC cement product cluster there are EzPro (SNI 7064-2014 and 7064-2022), PwrPro (SNI 8912:2020 Type HE), MaxStrength (SNI 8363:2017), DuPro+ SBC (SNI 0302:2014), and DuPro+ LH (SNI 0302:2024).

Meanwhile, in the OPC type cement cluster and special types, there are UltraPro (SNI 2049-2015), SprintPro (SNI 2049-2015), DuPro+ HSR (SNI 2049-2015), DuPro+ MSR (SNI 2049-2015), and SuperThermo (API Spec 10A).
