Rehabilitation From Prabowo Affirms There Is An Error In The Legal Process Of The Former ASDP Directors

JAKARTA The legal adviser to former President Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Ira Puspadewi, Soesilo Aribowo, confirmed that the rehabilitation given by President Prabowo Subianto to his client showed that there was a wrong or illegal legal legal process. He conveyed this after accompanying Ira at the KPK's Red and White House, South Jakarta, Tuesday, November 25 evening.

Soesilo said the President's decision to use the prerogative to issue a rehabilitation letter was a form of full recovery of Ira Puspadewi's rights and two other former ASDP directors, Muhammad Yusuf Hadi and Harry Muhammad Adhi Caksono.

"Of course, if the title is rehabilitation, it means that there is a legal process that is wrong or invalid. Therefore, the President gives the restoration of his rights and dignity as usual," said Soesilo.

He explained that the rehabilitation automatically abolished all the sentences previously handed down by the court against Ira and her friends. "Of course, there will be no more sentences determined by the court," he said.

On that occasion, Soesilo also expressed his appreciation to President Prabowo and a number of parties who were considered to have played a role in the rehabilitation process, including Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Wijaya, and Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi.

President Prabowo is known to have signed a rehabilitation letter for three former ASDP directors who were previously involved in a corruption case in the business cooperation (KSU) acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara (JN). With this rehabilitation, the three of them are now restoring their status and rights as before the legal process took place.
