Sad News From Jambi, As Many As 234 People Died Due To COVID-19
JAKARTA - The number of confirmed positive COVID-19 patients in Jambi Province exceeded 12,000 cases, to be exact 12,030 people.
"Today, there are 119 people who have been confirmed positive for COVID-19, so the total number of patients who have been confirmed positive for COVID-19 in Jambi is 12,030," said Jambi Province COVID-19 Task Force spokesman Johansyah in Jambi, quoted by Antara, Monday, June 21.
A total of 12,030 COVID-19 patients are spread across eleven regencies and cities. With details, in Jambi City, there were 3,624 people, in Sungai Penuh City 775 people, in Batanghari Regency 1,160 people, and in Muaro Jambi Regency 1,706 people.
Then in Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency 1,044 people, in Tanjung Jabung Timur 692 people and in Tebo Regency 727 people. Furthermore, in Bungo Regency 786 people, Sarolangun 496 people, Merangin 696 people and in Kerinci Regency 324 people.

And there are 9,920 COVID-19 patients who have been declared cured in the area. Among them in Jambi City amounted to 2,904 people, Sungai Penuh City 730 people, Batanghari Regency 964 people, and in Muaro Jambi 1,406 people.
Then in Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency 915 people, in Tanjung Jabung Timur 589 people and in Tebo 600 people. Furthermore, in Bungo Regency 676 people, Sarolangun 247 people, Merangin 581 people and in Kerinci Regency 308 people.
Meanwhile, today there are four COVID-19 patients in the area who died. Among them are three people in Jambi City, one person in Muaro Jambi Regency, and four people in Merangin Regency. This brings the total number of COVID-19 patients who died in the area to 234.
"There are 1,876 COVID-19 patients who are still undergoing the treatment process," said Johansyah.
And of the eleven regencies and cities in the area, three are still in the COVID-19 red zone or the high-risk zone for COVID-19 transmission. Namely Jambi City, Muaro Jambi Regency and Tanjung Jabung Regency.
Then eight other areas are in the orange zone or moderate risk zone for COVID-19 transmission, namely Sungai Penuh City, Kerinci Regency, Tebo, Bungo, Merangin, Sarolangun, Batanghari and East Tanjung Jabung Regency.
The Jambi Province COVID-19 Task Force urges people in the area to apply the COVID-19 health protocol in a disciplined manner. Namely washing hands with soap in running water, wearing masks, maintaining distance, avoiding crowds, and reducing mobility outside the area.
