PP Muhammadiyah Reminds Again That The Prohibition Of Paskibraka Hijab Will Not Be Repeated
Chairman of the Muhammadiyah Central Executive (PP) Haedar Nashir hopes that the ban on wearing headscarves will not happen again for members of the Heritage Flag-raising force (Paskibraka).
Haedar said that although it was allowed to wear the headscarf for Paskibraka members, his party regretted the decision to remove the previous headscarf.
He conveyed this after laying the first stone for the construction of a lecture building with the second campus of Muhammadiyah Magelang University (Unimma).
According to him, the ban on wearing the headscarf is not in accordance with the ideology of the Indonesian nation, namely Pancasila, especially the first precept and second principle.
He admitted that he was very sorry and concerned about the polemic of removing the hijab (hijab) for Paskibraka issued by the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP).
"It hurts, is concerning and should not happen again," he said in Magelang, Friday, August 16, which was confiscated by Antara.

He appreciated the steps taken by the President and the organizing committee for the heirloom flag that had allowed the Paskibraka members wearing headscarves to wear headscarves.
"We respect those who are of other religions and have not wearing headscarves, but when those who have headscarves and are religious beliefs, it is in line with Pancasila," he said.
He conveyed that BPIP should be an example for all people and not pioneer secularization. Indonesia should not be a secular country.
Haedar said that when religious people carry out their religion and it is guaranteed by the constitution and there should be no prohibition.
