The Man Who Was Trapped In The Water Shelter In Kemayoran Was Evacuated By The Fire Department For 15 Minutes
The rescue team from the Central Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Sudin Gulkarmat) managed to evacuate a middle-aged man who was trapped in a water reservoir in his yard located on Jalan Taruna V Gang 23, RT 17/0, Serdang Village, Kemayoran District, Central Jakarta.
The evacuation was successfully carried out by 4 rescue officers from the Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. The handling of the victim was completed at 11.15 WIB. Meanwhile, the incident was reported at 11.00 WIB.
"Handling is done by cutting the steps to remove the victim from the water reservoir," said Head of Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Asril Rizal when confirmed by VOI, Friday, July 26.
Asril said, the incident began when a resident wanted to clean the water reservoir in his house. When finished and about to leave, the victim could not get out because the small shelter hole was rather narrow.

"Because he was confused about trying to ask for help by reporting the incident by coming to the nearest fire station. Evacuation was successful," he said.
Previously, a resident of Kemayoran was reportedly trapped in a water reservoir in his house on Jalan Taruna 5, Kemayoran District, Central Jakarta, Friday, July 26, afternoon.
The incident was reported to have occurred around 11.00 WIB. At that time, a middle-aged man was suspected of wanting to carry out activities in a hole to repair his water reservoir.
However, due to a small hole, the victim's body, which had entered the hole, was eventually trapped. Residents also reported to the Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. for the evacuation process.
