Worried About Rabies, A Dog Bitting A 7-year-old Boy's Eyeball In South Jakarta Is Quarantined
JAKARTA - The South Jakarta City Administrative Food Security Sub-dept. (KPKP) carried a dog that attacked a boy and suffered an eye wound to the quarantine area.
"Yes, we have brought the dog to the rabies observation house," said Head of the South Jakarta Food, Maritime and Agriculture Security (KPKP) Sub-dept., Hasudungan A Sidabalok when confirmed, Tuesday, June 25.
Hasudungan said that the dog would be observed for 14 days since June 22. The animal was quarantined for health checks because there are concerns about having rabies.

The video on social media shows a 7-year-old child being bitten by a dog until he has an eye wound.

Kompol Widya also said that if the victim refused to make a report, because the dog owner would be responsible for the victim's medical treatment.
"The victim's family did not make a report. According to RT and RW information, the dog owner wants to be responsible. We have checked the report," Agustiono said when confirmed, Friday, June 21.
Widya continued, the attack on a dog on a child began when the victim wanted to see the sacrificial animal in the prayer room near his house. Arriving at the scene, the dog suddenly appeared and immediately gave up the 7-year-old boy.
