TANGERANG - The police have determined IS (22) who is suspected of molesting his girlfriend, AM (22), who was accused of losing his cellphone when he was deposited in the Pondok Aren area, South Tangerang.
"Yes, it is true that the suspect has been named," said Pondok Aren Police Chief, Kompol Bambang Askar Sodiq to reporters at Pondok Aren Police, Monday, June 24.
Bambang said the suspect's motive for assaulting him was because he was annoyed, because his girlfriend actually lost him.
"The perpetrator was annoyed, disappointed with his girlfriend for the reason of entrusting his cellphone, it turned out to be missing, that's all," he said.
Victim AM was abused by the perpetrator until he was battered. Then AM made a police report.

The police who have received information gave chase for up to 14 days. As a result, the perpetrator was arrested in the Cinere area, Depok, West Java.
"The perpetrator has been in the Cinere area for about 14 days, has moved from place to place, north to south. Finally, we secured it in the Cinere area, Depok, at a relative's house," he said.
Furthermore, the perpetrator was examined until he was finally named a suspect. He was charged with Article 351 of the Criminal Code with a maximum threat of 5 years in prison.
