Two Residents Of Johar Baru Central Jakarta Arrested While Riding A Motorbike Carrying A Sickle

JAKARTA - Two men armed with sickles were arrested by the Central Jakarta Metro Police Precision Pioneer Team. Both were arrested on Gang T Street, Johar Baru District, Central Jakarta, Friday, June 13, early in the morning.

The arrest began when the Central Jakarta Metro Police Precise Pioneer Team was on patrol in the Johar Baru sub-district, then saw a group of youths who wanted to fight.

The Precision Pioneer Patrol Team then arrested 2 people suspected of carrying out a brawl. The two teenagers were then taken to the Johar Baru Police Station for further investigation.

"Furthermore, the two teenagers and the evidence were handed over to the Johar Baru Police for follow-up," he said.

The Head of the Johar Baru Police, Kompol Ubaidillah, said that the two youths were arrested not while fighting but were riding together while carrying sickles.

"Not a brawl, a ride (carrying a gun), it was secured," said Kompol Ubaidillah when confirmed, Friday, June 14.
