Stab The Opponent's Hand Until It Breaks, 4 Teenagers Arrested By The East Jakarta Police

The East Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim arrested four brawlers who were involved in the stabbing of a 3 high school student until his hands were cut off, at the Pasar Rebo Flyover, East Jakarta. The four perpetrators are known to have the initials AM (17), AP (16), RA (15) and P (17).

East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly said the arrests of the perpetrators were made after the incident went viral. The perpetrators were arrested in several different locations.

"We have arrested the perpetrators of four people, the brains of the brawl are still running away. Our members have been deployed," said Kombes Nicolas to reporters, Tuesday, January 30.

The victim is known to have the initials DSS (17). The victim's left hand almost broke and his right hand was cut off by the perpetrator using a sickle. Currently, the victim is still undergoing hand sewing surgery that almost broke at the Kramatjati Police Hospital.

"A total of two sickle blades measuring 1.5 meters belonging to the perpetrators were confiscated. Meanwhile, the other two sickles were still brought by other perpetrators who were still DPOs," he said.

Meanwhile, the steps that have been taken by the East Jakarta Metro Police have now secured a total of 12 witnesses from the victim and the perpetrator.

"In this case, the victim as the perpetrator and the perpetrator as the victim. As a result of our investigation, the victim whose hands were broken has not opened any evidence. From the video footage circulating, they (the group of perpetrators and victims) brought a knife," he said.

The groups of perpetrators and victims held a brawl with an appointment through the WhatsApp application.

"They are a different group, which the movers collect. They want to admit, mock each other. The perpetrators get drunk when they do a brawl to be brave. From their confession, they consume liquor first," he said.

As a result of his actions, the four perpetrators were charged with Article 76c in conjunction with Article 80 and/or Article 170 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 351 of the Criminal Code with a threat of 9 years in prison.
