Central Jakarta Police Distributes Hundreds Of Joint Personnel To Secure Indonesia Vs Thailand Match Tonight

Central Jakarta Metro Police deployed as many as 772 joint personnel from elements of the TNI, Polri, Satpol PP, Dishub, to firefighters to secure matches between the U-20 VS Thailand U-20 Indonesian national team in the International Match.

The match was held at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK) and the Madya Senayan Stadium, Central Jakarta on Friday, January 26.

Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro said that later we would deploy joint personnel to carry out security.

"Security will be assigned to guard on the outside of the GBK Stadium. We will enter the stadium if there is a request from the committee," said Kombes Susatyo, Friday, January 26, afternoon.

The joint personnel deployed will be placed at the entrances to the stadium, entrances to the Ring Road area, outer doors to the GBK area, VVIP doors and official doors.

"We are also working with the committee to check the luggage of the audience. Spectators are prohibited from bringing firecrackers, liquor, machetes and so on," he said.

Kombes Susatyo said that the traffic flow was still normal, there was no diversion. However, the police have prepared a scenario for diverting traffic flow in the event of vehicle congestion.

"We guarantee that all community activities in the GBK area will not be disrupted and all community activities can run safely and smoothly," he said.

All members involved in security are advised to always act persuasively, not provoked and always humane in carrying out their duties.

"We appeal to supporters from both the national team and the opposing team to always maintain security, order and comply with the applicable regulations in the match tonight," he said.
