Al Fallah Mosque Burner In Sunter Jaya Has Prepared Gasoline Purchased Near Home

JAKARTA - The Head of the Tanjung Priok Police, Kompol Nazirwan, revealed that the perpetrators of the Al Falah Mosque burner in Sunter Jaya, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, with the initials SMY (20) had prepared previous gasoline.

Nazirwan said that SMY bought gasoline not far from the scene.

"It has been prepared, buy something not far from the scene," Nazirwan said when confirmed, Thursday, January 25.

Nevertheless, Nazirwan admitted that he could not conclude the motive of the perpetrator. After the perpetrator was detained, the police were still investigating SMY.

It is not yet known whether there is an alleged mental disorder against the perpetrator. In order to reveal it, Nazirwan said he would involve doctors to examine SMY.

"We are still going to take him to the hospital, we want a psychological test. If the motive is still being investigated," he said

Regarding the arson incident, Nazirwan continued, SMY ignited the fire after the gasoline was scattered on the carpet near the pulpit. After the puff of smoke seemed thick, when Maghrib, local residents began to panic.

"After Maghrib, (burned it). Currently, the witnesses are examined by 2 people," he concluded
