SOE Minister: Will Not Stop, I Will Continue To Fight Corruption
JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir promised not to stop eradicating corruption in state-owned companies. One way is by continuing to carry out the BUMN cleaning program.
The SOE cleaning program is a form of our commitment to eradicate corruption. I will not allow misuse of funds in the BUMN environment, let alone harm the community," Erick wrote on the official Instagram @erick.thohir, quoted on Sunday, December 10.
Furthermore, Erick said the Jiwasraya, Asabri, Garuda Indonesia, and Pension Fund cases were proof of his party's seriousness in eradicating corruption.
"It doesn't stop here, I will continue to fight corruption so that SOEs are cleaner and can provide great benefits to the people of Indonesia," he said.
As is known, Erick is increasingly cleaning up SOEs and BUMN pension funds from corruption. Erick even cooperated with the Attorney General's Office and the KPK. Erick also did not hesitate to fire BUMN bosses who were involved in corruption cases.

Previously, it was reported that the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir planned to report two problematic pension funds (dappen) in BUMN to the Attorney General's Office (AGO) this month. Previously, four had also been reported together.
"The plan is that in December (2023) there will be two more (dappen) to be reported to the Attorney General's Office," Erick said in a working meeting with Commission VI of the DPR, at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, December 4.
But unfortunately, Erick Thohir was reluctant to mention which state-owned company was going to be reported to the Attorney General's Office. Even so, he hopes that the steps to improve the management of SOEs will be healthy in the future.
"So that later the pension funds will really be in transition for the next 3 years, they will be healthy," he said.
