Surakarta Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka ensured that the revitalization of the Surakarta Hadiningrat Kasunanan Palace will continue even though the conflict is heating up again.

"Regarding the internal problems of the palace, yesterday I emphasized that whatever the situation is, please allow us to start construction," said Gibran, quoted by ANTARA in Solo, Central Java, Tuesday, October 10.

He also hopes that the conflict will not interfere with the schedule for the revitalization of the Kasunanan Palace.

"Anyway, the construction will continue. Yesterday, the Ministry of PUPR and the palace agreed that the handover of assets would be handed over to the foundation which was approved by Sinuhun yesterday. You have to hand over, yes, development must continue," he also said.

Similar to the initial plan, he said again, the revitalization will begin in the south square first. Meanwhile, the Kamandangan Kori area or the main door of the palace will be revitalized in the next stage.

"Anyway, we touch the south square first," he said.

Meanwhile, related to the palace conflict, he admitted, until now it has not been resolved.

"Yesterday I went there in the afternoon, it was not finished. Yesterday I met Kanjeng Gusti Ratu (PB XIII's wife, ed.)," he said again.

At the meeting, he advised relatives to resolve the conflict amicably.

"Please complete it internally, basically we ask for permission so that the construction there continues. God willing, it will not hinder it," he also said.
