200 Police Secure Mario Dandy's First Trial At The South Jakarta District Court

The South Jakarta Metro Police (Polres Jaksel) has prepared hundreds of personnel to secure the inaugural trial of defendants Mario Dandy Satriyo (20) and Shane Lukas (19) WIB at the South Jakarta District Court.

"About 200 personnel are for securing the trial," said Head of Ops for the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Gunarto, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 6.

Gunarto said hundreds of these personnel had been prepared since Monday (5/6) night to maintain security and order at the location.

In addition, his party has also coordinated with the South Jakarta District Court to provide security so that the trial runs smoothly.

The hope is that the trial can run smoothly considering that the weather has been unpredictable for the past few days, according to him.

"We are preparing from night, including we prepare tents outside for all colleagues, both our personnel and the media crew," he said.

The South Jakarta District Court (PN) today held the inaugural trial of defendants Mario Dandy Satriyo (20) and Shane Lukas (19) in the case of persecution of David Ozora (17).

Public Relations Officer of the South Jakarta District Court, Djuyamto, said that the agenda for this first trial was to read out the indictment by the public prosecutor (JPU), the trial was scheduled to take place around 11.00 WIB.

The trial was chaired by a panel of judges appointed by the South Jakarta District Court leadership, namely Alimin Ribut Sujono, as chairman, Tumpanuli Marbun as member judge I and Muhammad Ramde as member judge II.

In this inaugural trial, said Djuyamto, the South Jakarta District Court did not provide special security.

However, his party has coordinated with the public prosecutor and the South Jakarta Metro Police regarding security on the day of the trial.

The case of the two defendants has been registered at the South Jakarta District Court with numbers: 297/Pid.B/2023/PN.Jkt.Sel and No.298/Pid.B/PN.Jkt.Sel.

Mario (20) and Shane (19) were two defendants of mistreatment of David Ozora (17) on Monday (20/2), including involving AG's son (15) as a child in conflict with law (ABH).
