Rieta Amilia Did Not Attend The 5th Trial, Gideon Tengker Disappointed

JAKARTA - Gideon Tengker accompanied by his attorney returned to visit the South Jakarta District Court (PN) today, Thursday, August 24, to undergo a civil trial on the lawsuit against his ex-wife, Rieta Amilia.

Shortly after entering the courtroom, Gideon Tengker and his attorney left. The mediation trial was again postponed because Rieta Amilia as the defendant was not present again.

"Today is still like yesterday, call to the parties," said Erles Rareral, Gideon Tengker's attorney.

Gideon Tengker admitted that he was very disappointed to learn that Rieta Amilia was not present again. It is known that the mediation trial has been postponed five times. They also did not know for sure what was the reason Raffi Ahmad's mother-in-law never attended.

"For reasons of absence, we do not know. We are still waiting for Rieta Amilia's presence in court," said Erles.

If he is not present at the upcoming trial, said Erles, the trial will continue on the evidentiary agenda. He believes there will be legal consequences if Rieta does not heed the summons.

"If he doesn't come, the trial will continue to prove. We will meet again on September 21. Hopefully he will come," said Gideon Tengker's attorney.

"The state provides space and time to attend the trial, if Rieta's legal consequences are not present, she will understand," he concluded.

As previously known, Gideon Tengker sued Rieta Amilia for Gono-gini's assets of Rp. 300 billion from her second marriage.

In the lawsuit, Gideon Tengker mentioned that there are several joint assets that should be divided, including houses, restaurants, lodging, production houses to apartments.

The lawsuit was registered at the South Jakarta District Court on May 31, 2023 with case number 502/Pdt.G/2023/PN JKT.SEL.
