JK Supports Jokowi As Long As It's For The Election To Be Honest And Fair

JAKARTA - Jusuf Kalla's 10th and 12th vice presidents support President Joko Widodo's stance ahead of the 2024 General Election (Pemilu) which is called cawe-cawe to carry out good democracy.

According to Jusuf Kalla, the reckless attitude to maintain democracy in running honest and fair elections is very good.

"We hope that it can be implemented properly. If we want what is explained for democracy to run well so that elections are honest and fair, of course we will support them," said Jusuf Kalla at the Presidential Palace complex, Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, May 30.

JK assesses that Jokowi knows his own boundaries in implementing good democracy and honest and fair elections.

The former chairman of the Golkar Party also responded to infrastructure policies that must continue. Nevertheless, taking into account efficient infrastructure according to its needs.

On the other hand, JK does not deny that every leader has their own way of building infrastructure.

"Keep the government's development still, the industrial road will continue, but of course the different ways for each leader and government, the goals are the same, there are no differences in goals. However, what is different is the choice of each existing government leader and the existing conditions," he said.

JK also assessed that the Government should keep the apparatus from interfering in the political contestation of the 2024 General Election. According to JK, the position of the apparatus is only as a referee.

Previously, President Joko Widodo met with editor-in-chief (pemred) of the mass media and media activists at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta.
