Irit Talks About Flexing The Family Of DKI Transportation Agency Officials, Heru Budi: Each Responsibility

JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono did not want to comment much on the family behavior of one of the DKI Provincial Government officials who went viral on social media because he often showed off his luxurious lifestyle.

According to Heru, the disclosure of flexing of children and wives from the Head of Traffic Control and Operations and Road Transportation Division of the Massdes Auroffy Transportation Service is the responsibility concerned.

"Each of them is responsible," said Heru briefly when met at the Jabodebek Dukuh Atas LRT Station, Central Jakarta, Friday, March 31.

Recently, netizens exposed the behavior of Massdes' wife and children who often uploaded photos of their appearances and accessories, ranging from bags, shoes, to camera lenses. Various well-known bag brands exhibited ranging from Hermès, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, to Dior.

When traced, the price of bags exhibited by the Masdes family varied, ranging from tens and tens of millions of rupiah. In fact, there was one Hermès bag exhibited by Masdes' wife, if genuine, the price reached Rp1.5 billion.

Meanwhile, Masdes is recorded to only have assets of IDR 1.8 billion per year 2021. This was revealed in the report on the assets of state officials (LHKPN) reported by Masdes on March 12, 2022.

Of his total assets, Masdes is recorded as owning land and buildings in South Tangerang worth IDR 982 billion. Then, Masdes owns three units of transportation modes, namely Mitsubishi Jeep, Toyota Fortuner, and Honda Beat motorcycles, all three of which are worth IDR 827 million.

Then, this echelon IIIB official has other movable assets worth Rp. 30 million, cash and cash equivalents of Rp. 277 million. Masdes' total wealth is Rp. 2.1 billion. However, he has a debt of Rp. 243 million. Thus, his net worth reaches Rp. 1.87 billion.

Masdes' wealth over the past few years has indeed increased, but has not increased significantly. In 2020, Masdes was recorded to have assets of IDR 1.65 billion. Then, Masdes' assets in 2019 amounted to IDR 1.52 billion.

The day after it was crowded on social media, Massdes and his wife were immediately signed by the DKI Jakarta Inspectorate for examination and clarification from the person concerned.

Currently, the DKI Provincial Government has not imposed a sanction on Massdes because it is still waiting for the results of the examination and clarification from the person concerned. Sanctions will be applied if there is a violation of civil servant discipline.
