With Skin Cancer, Hugh Jackman Emphasizes The Importance Of Using Sunscreen

JAKARTA - Hugh Jackman gave a message to the public to diligently wear sunscreen. He returned to undergo treatment for skin cancer several times. Recently he showed his latest condition in a video.

The 54-year-old actor was seen wearing a bandage on his nose after the latest biopsy. Jackman wanted to explain his condition to avoid questions from the public.

“I want you guys to hear it from me, when someone sees me in the street or something,” says Hugh Jackman starting the video.

“I just had two biopsies. I recently met with my doctor, Dr. Incredible iron. And he saw some things, which could be basal cells. He doesn't know," he continued.

“I'll find out in two or three days, and when I know I'll share it. To remind you guys, basal cell - in the world of skin cancer is the least dangerous," he said again.

Hugh Jackman explained that the public should wear sunscreen. Even though someone wants to sunbathe but they should not skip sunscreen.

“How much do you guys want to sunbathe, believe me. This was 25 years ago and is only being seen now. Wear sunscreen. You guys still have plenty of time out there. Take care of yourselves,” concluded Hugh Jackman.

The actor was first diagnosed with skin cancer in 2013 after his wife asked him to check the condition of his face to doctor. There is an abnormality in Jackman's nose that drives him away.

Then Hugh Jackman confirmed that he had a basal cell disorder. The condition of skin cancer is characterized by a lump that appears in the area that is most often exposed to the sun.

Since then, the Deadpool 3 star has routinely checked the condition of the skin on the nose and continues to receive treatment. Each time the cell appears, Hugh Jackman performs surgery to remove the cell so it doesn't grow any bigger.

“I was shocked when I heard the word cancer. As an Australian it's normal. I grew up never using sunscreen so I'm kind of a prime candidate,” said Hugh Jackman in an interview.
