JAKARTA - Acara penghargaan British Academy Film and Television Award (BAFTA) sukses digelar di tahun penyelenggaraan ke-77 pada Minggu, 18 Februari. Bertempat di Royal Festival Hall, London, film Oppenheimer dari Christopher Nolan kembali menyapu bersih penghargaan.

Oppenheimer yang memenangkan Best Film memboyong 7 penghargaan tahun ini, disusul dengan Poor Things yang mencapai 5 penghargaan.

Sejumlah momen menyenangkan datang dari BAFTA, salah satunya penyanyi Sophie Ellis-Bextor yang membawakan lagu Murder on the Dancefloor yang menjadi hit berkat film Saltburn. Selain itu, Hannah Waddingham menyanyikan Time After Time untuk segmen In Memoriam.
