JAKARTA - The Hammersonic Festival 2023 at Carnaval Ancol, Jakarta, was successfully held on March 18 and 19.

This has inscribed gold in the music industry in the country as the largest rock music festival in the Southeast Asian region because it succeeded in beating tens of thousands of hammerheads (Hammersonic connoisseurs) with 53 international and Indonesian performers.

“We are very grateful to hammerheads who have been patiently waiting for Hammersonic for three years and have remained loyal to support during Hammersonic 2023 preparations. We thank the 53 performers who gave their best performance during the Hammersonic event. It is hoped that the 2023 Hammersonic Festival will satisfy the hammerheads' three-year wait," said Ravel Junardy, CEO of Ravel Entertainment, promoter of Hammersonic 2023 in his statement.

"Both the less or the more that happened during the event, we hope it can be a lesson and encouragement for us to be able to get better in the future," he continued.

Apart from that, Hammersonic feels special this time because it is a kind of historic moment where Slipknot is here to greet maggots (Slipknot fans) in Southeast Asia.

The masked rock unit from America also performed optimally and managed to complete its fans' waiting for three years. In fact, in the middle of his performance, Corey Taylor felt proud to be performing in Indonesia and making it one of Slipknot's best concerts!

“We didn't have any imagination or expectations when we decided to play here. This is the best. Oh God, Indonesia. We didn't know what to expect but this was one of the best spectators. Thank you very much," said Corey Taylor, vocalist of Slipknot.

It doesn't stop there, Hammersonic 2023 is a festival that presents various treats apart from music concerts. An example is the stand-up comedy show and the Hammersonic Awards to appreciate various rock musicians in the country.

“Once again, the three years of waiting paid off. With all the gossip and drama I can finally keep this promise to all hammerheads. Thank you for the trust and criticism that I received. Everything makes me better. I wish you all happiness," he added.
