JAKARTA - Commission I of the Indonesian House of Representatives will hold a fit and proper test for the candidate for TNI commander in chief against TNI General Agus Subiyanto on Monday, November 13. The series of fit and proper tests will begin tomorrow preceded by administrative verification. This was conveyed by the Chairman of Commission I of the DPR, Meutya Hafid, after an internal meeting at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, November 9. "We have just decided in an internal meeting of Commission I regarding the fit and proper test plan for the candidate for TNI commander, the series will start tomorrow, namely administrative verification," said Meutya. In this administrative verification, the candidate for TNI commander is expected to complete the life history list, NPWP, KTP, Family Card, LHKPN in 2022, SPT Tax in 2022 and a health certificate from a government hospital. "We will do this tomorrow in full on Friday," said Meutya. Then for the General Opinion Meeting (RDPU) or the delivery of the vision and mission, which is commonly called a fit and proper test, will be held on Monday, November 13, at 10.00 WIB. "So it will start in the morning with the delivery of the vision and mission for approximately 30 minutes to be carried out openly. Later, if there is an in-depth study that may find confidentiality, the meeting will be closed, but it will be opened at the beginning to be known to the public, all what the vision and mission of the commander-in-chief candidate is," explained Meutya. On the same day, factual verification will be carried out by visiting the private residence of General TNI Agus Subiyanto, who currently serves as Army Chief of Staff (KSAD).

"We still don't know the place, but it is also planned to be completely completed on November 13, later from there Commission I will write to the leadership of the DPR on November 13," said the Deputy Chief of Golkar. "After that, Commission I of the DPR will write to the leadership of the DPR, and then it will be approved in the plenary session for the schedule in the plenary session later in the leadership of the DPR," added Meutya.
