Hendry Ch Builds To Schedule Soft Launching Of HPN 2024 At Car Free Day Moment

JAKARTA - The 2024 National Press Day (HPN) preparation meeting attended by the General Chairperson of the Central PWI Hendry Ch Bangun and PWI Secretary General Sayid Iskandarsyah, scheduled a soft launching' HPN at the Hotel Indonesia (HI) roundabout on November 12, 2023 at the moment of car free day. Hendry invited reporters to introduce the 2024 HPN to the public.

We will unfurl banners and healthy roads at the HI Roundabout," said Central PWI General Chair Hendry Ch Bangun at the PWI Office, Jalan Kebon Sirih, Jakarta, Wednesday 1 November.

The next 2024 HPN is the first HPN of the Central PWI Management under the leadership of Hendry Ch Bangun. The peak of the 2024 HPN event will take place on February 9, 2024 at Ancol Dreamland Park (TIJA), Jakarta.

In a meeting chaired by the Central PWI Deputy Secretary General, Raja Pane also discussed various preparations for HPN events which this time carried the theme Scoring the National Leadership Transition and the Integrity of the Nation.

Hendry Ch Bangun believes that the promotion of the 2024 HPN must be intensified, both through reports in the mass media and content on social media with various platforms, such as Youtube, podcasts, Twitter, Instagram, short videos, live streaming and so on. We want HPN this time to be different and the echo to be stronger," he added.

One of the 2024 HPN events that will be broadcast on 'live streaming' is the national dialogue which will feature three pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates.

Hendry said the national dialogue was important as well as to show the identity of PWI Merah Putih, namely the professional organization of journalists with national insight and continue to promote the values of diversity and the struggle of the Indonesian nation.

It is hoped that the implementation of the 2024 HPN will also inspire the community and other stakeholders through the PWI Award. This award will be given to several young figures who have contributed to the environment, education and MSMEs.

The 2024 HPN Preparation Meeting also agreed on the need to give the Golden Pena to community leaders who are considered meritorious to the nation and pay attention to the progress of the press world. "We must also pay attention to proposals from the regions. The Golden Pena is a proposal from the regions," added Hendry Ch Bangun.
